Partnership Program Details

Susquehanna SC and The Celtic FC International Partnership Program

In 2018 Susquehanna SC joined the prestigious Celtic FC International Partnership Program. Our club will begin to adapt The Celtic Way curriculum and continuously look for more ways to develop our players and coaches. Some of the elements of the partnership that we have participated in includes, hosting an Annual Summer Camp, attending Elite ID Camps.  Next year we will be sending some of our coaching staff to the Annual Celtic Convention in Glasgow, Scotland, and participating in monthly coach seminars. In the future we will have the ability to send teams to train and play competitive games in Glasgow, Scotland.



Club Partnership Program

The club partnership program allows overseas clubs to become an official Club Partner of Celtic Football Club and receive benefits such as:

  • Access to academy standard coaching curriculum
  • Permission to use official Celtic crest (pre-approved by Celtic)
  • Opportunity for partner club’s teams to visit Celtic FC
  • Visits from Celtic FC coaches to partner club.
  • Opportunity for players at partner club to attend official Celtic FC coaching in Glasgow
  • Feature on Celtic official Website
  • Feature in official Celtic magazine,  ‘The Celtic View’
  • Opportunity to host Celtic FC soccer camps/clinics
  • Partner clubs will also have the opportunity for teams to travel to Celtic FC to take part in their team tour experience.
  • Coach educations sessions

Celtic Soccer Academy is delighted to announce that they have added Susquehanna Soccer Club to their ever growing International Club Partnership Program.  This long term partnership with Susquehanna Soccer Club will involve the sharing of club methodologies, coach education, coaching camps and it will also present Susquehanna Soccer Club with the opportunity to visit Glasgow, Scotland to experience what life is like for an academy player at Celtic Football Club. Susquehanna Soccer Club will also have the chance to send their coaches to Celtic Football Club to attend the renowned International Coaches Convention in Glasgow and receive a behind the scenes look at how Celtic develops young players to reach their potential.

Susquehanna Soccer Club’s membership of over 450 players and their hard work and dedication within the area of Central Pennsylvania was a major factor in the Celtic Soccer Academy choosing them as their newest club partner.

Susquehanna Soccer Club’s President, Keith Brown, is thrilled to be joining forces with Celtic Soccer Academy.  He said: “We are trying to create a unique experience with different opportunities for our players and being able to integrate their vision and philosophy with our own, will only further enhance that experience.”

Celtic Soccer Academy Manager Willie McNab added: ‘We are delighted to add Susquehanna Soccer Club to our International Club Partnership Program and it again emphasizes our commitment to building relationships across the globe.
